Who we are

Blue Tulip Co Pty Ltd operates this website (bluetulipco.com). This policy covers the website. In it, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Blue Tulip Co Pty Ltd, and “you” means the person using the website.

We are an Australian company and operate under Australian privacy law. Our commitments are simple: we collect nothing about you, we have nothing to sell, and there is nothing of yours for us to keep.

What we collect

If you visit the website

Nothing that identifies you. This website has no accounts, no sign-in and no forms that ask for anything about you. We do not collect your name, your email address or your location.

Like any website, ours is served by a host that handles the request. We do not operate a server of our own, and we do not build a profile of your visit.

If you chat with Della

Della runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type to her is sent anywhere — not to us, not to an AI provider, not to any third party.

She is not a chatbot with a service behind her. She is a matcher that runs on your own device, and the only thing this page fetches is a file of guide titles from our own site, the same way it fetches an image.

Your conversation is held in the tab you are using and disappears when you close it. It is never uploaded, never stored by us, and never seen by anyone. If you close the tab, it is gone — including from us, because we never had it.

This is deliberate. People ask Della things they have not said out loud to anyone. That should not leave the room.

How we use it

There is nothing to use. We hold no personal information about visitors to this website.

How we store it

We store nothing about you.

Two small things are kept in your browser’s session storage, which your browser clears when you close the tab: your conversation with Della, so it is still there if you follow a link and come back, and whether you had her chat window open. Neither leaves your device and neither identifies you.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We have nothing to share.

One service is involved in running the site:

• Our website host serves the pages. Like any host, it sees the ordinary details of a web request — which page, when, from roughly where — as a necessary part of delivering it. We do not add anything to that and we do not receive a copy.

We may disclose information if required by a valid legal process — though in practice we hold nothing that could be disclosed.

Cross-border data

Our host operates a global network, so the pages may be served from outside Australia. No personal information of yours travels with them, because we do not collect any.

How long we keep it

We keep nothing, so there is nothing to delete. What your browser holds, your browser clears when you close the tab.

Your rights

Australian privacy law gives you the right to ask what personal information an organisation holds about you, to correct it, and to complain about how it is handled.

In our case the answer to the first is: none. You are welcome to ask, and to hold us to that — email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Children

Parts of the library are written for young people, including guides for teenagers. We collect nothing from anyone, of any age — there are no accounts, no forms and nothing to submit.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies at all. No consent cookie, no advertising cookie, no tracking pixel, no social-media tracker. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It is cookieless: it sets nothing in your browser, does not use a device fingerprint, and does not follow you between sites or between visits. It records which page was requested, roughly when, the referring site, and general information about the browser and country. It does not identify you and we cannot use it to single you out.

The only thing kept in your browser is your Della conversation and whether her chat window was open, both in session storage, both cleared when you close the tab.

Security

The site is served over TLS, and it collects nothing — which is the strongest security measure available to us. There is no database of yours to breach. If we ever become aware of a security problem that could affect people who use the site, we will say so.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date below tells you when. If we make material changes, we will say so on the website before they take effect.
